Why Celebrating Libraries?

Our Story

Following a few drinks at UKSG 2019, a few of us thought it would be a great idea to have a community space to celebrate our libraries - regardless of size and type.

Many of us over the years have seen some truly wonderful spaces or ingenious and thought provoking ideas and campaigns, and even been fortunate to meet some inspirational library team members.

​

We wanted to be able to celebrate these and create a space where people can submit and share their stories. 

​

Lou from The International Bunch, who sounded out the idea with peers at UKSG 2019, has created this space but we are always looking for editors to help check stories as it is a community space after all. Interested? Just contact Lou at The International Bunch.
